About

The philosophy of me in about 250 words.

I was once asked to describe myself at my very core with just one title. In other words, what drove me to be me? Was I a true born salesman? A designer at heart? A comedian? A competitor? My first response was writer. From my earliest memories I have enjoyed the English language. I've spent a large portion of my life trying to construct the perfect sentence. But the question nagged at me because even though I am a passionate word lover, there is much more to it than that. It wasn't until several days after the question was asked that it dawned on me that I am not just a writer, but a storyteller at my core. Storytelling has always been an important part of my life. As a child I was not only attracted to the plots in books and movies, but also to the idea of creating my own stories. As I grew older this evolved into writing, then expanded into graphic and web design.

Although I have held different titles throughout my career, the core of every job has been telling a story. Each project that I take on is a new narrative. Whether it's the singular story of how a business came to be or a collection of product stories put into a catalog, it's my belief that every product, every company, every person, every charity has a unique story waiting to be told. I enjoy the challenge of finding that story and shaping it into the perfect message.
